Rest in peace

We have all probably used phrases and words such as these far too many times in the recent past – more than ever this year.
Deepest condolences
Sorry to hear about your loss
Remembering you in our prayers
Shocked and sad
Oh, this came as a shock
Gone too soon
Too young to die
He/ She will be dearly missed
Our condolences & prayers
I hope you are looking after yourself
I am here for you if you need to talk
Just a phone call away
I have lost a loved one so I know how you are feeling
We will keep in touch
Rest in Peace
Death and the resultant grief affects our spirit, body, mind & emotions in more ways than we imagine.
Further, it makes everything feel so very surreal as if reality is just a horrendous dream.
Everything becomes a blur as the idea of time vanishes. Days are measured by one day after they died, two days after they died until it gradually tapers off.
Let us all pray for this pandemic to end.
Enough is enough.
