I sincerely feel that the word LIKE on FB has not been understood or am I a slow learner / missing something ???
No offence meant but are people actually reading thoroughly before they LIKE something or has it become a habit .
Do you want to say" Hi" or , "Its me" but you don't feel like keying in those words so you do what's easiest you just LIKE a post for the sake of LIKING it ?
PLEASE listen to this and judge for yourself .
Some body puts up a post - MY GRANDFATHER DIED LAST NIGHT . RIP
Within an hour there are 45 likes !!!
For goodness sake how do people LIKE that - are they happy about the news because that's what LIKE means !

The LIKERS go into overdrive LIKING the post !!

Definitely something to ponder about.
I had something worse on my wall.A friend of mine had posted a pic of her Mom's "Last Journey" and paid tributes to her. There were 14 likes for the pic.
I also find this abbreviation "RIP" a little odd.
